Mobile Report Access Reduces Need to Print and Carry Paper Reports

SunGard has launched WealthStation Mobile Report Access to help advisors engage with clients and demonstrate their value, as part of its comprehensive wealth management mobility strategy.  The solution gives advisors mobile access to their clients’ WealthStation financial planning reports, facilitating increased collaboration and effectiveness of client meetings.

Wealth managers across all tiers of the industry are seeking to redefine and rebuild their relationships with their clients in order to protect and grow their clients and revenues.  WealthStation Mobile Report Access helps support advisors’ financial planning and advice process outside of the office.

When preparing for client meetings, most advisors prepare a presentation package by collecting and collating paper-based reports.  WealthStation Mobile Report Access, which is also available on mobile tablets, helps reduce the need to print and carry paper-based reports as well as associated resource and printing costs.  It also helps ensure security of client information since data is not stored on the device. The solution gives advisors the ability to interactively discuss the financial topics they have analyzed, scenarios they have created and other relevant planning issues in-person with their clients.

According to Forrester Research1, three-quarters of the world’s population are connected to information through mobile devices. “For firms, the mobile Internet presents a watershed opportunity to create more continuous relationships with their clients,” said Bill Doyle, vice president and principal analyst at Forrester Research.

Jennifer Valdez, senior vice president, product management and strategic design for SunGard’s wealth management business, said, “SunGard is helping advisors provide a more dynamic client experience with mobile solutions that offer greater transparency and engagement.  WealthStation Mobile Report Access provides advisors with tools to make the most of their client meetings and transform their client interactions, gain their confidence and establish a solid foundation to help client and revenue growth and retention.”
